Meet Hinson, a little warrior who had his world turned upside down at just 18 months. In August 2024, he faced the unimaginable: a diagnosis of ETMR, a rare tumor pressing against his brain stem. The odds were stacked against him.

The journey began with a proposed treatment of chemotherapy—three rounds to be precise. But when the MRI results came in after the first round, the news was not what anyone had hoped for; the tumor had grown. Confusion set in. Was it a sign of a good reaction or a sign of despair? The doctors made the critical decision to recommend surgery, a chance to take back control.

After an intense 14-hour surgery, the moment of truth arrived: they managed to remove the entire tumor. The relief was palpable, but the fight was far from over. Five months post-surgery, Hinson is shining brighter than ever—all scans are clear!

With relentless spirit, he’s engaging in therapies, tirelessly working to reclaim his joyful personality. Hinson’s laughter fills the room, proving that even after the darkness, light can break through. He has undergone three rounds of chemotherapy and three rounds of stem cell treatment, with rehab and radiation on the horizon.
